Questions We Hear All the Time

If yours isn't here, just give us a call.

How much does dog poop pickup cost in Winkler?
Weekly service starts at $20 per visit for one dog in a small or average yard. Bi-weekly service starts at $35. One-time cleanups start at $120 depending on yard size and how long it has been since the last clean. See the full pricing table on this page or call us at (204) 361-6848 for an exact quote.
Do you do one-time cleanups, or is it regular service only?
We do both. One-time cleanups are available anytime, no commitment required. They're popular for spring thaw, moving into a new home, getting ready for a backyard event, or just catching up after a busy stretch. Some customers start with a one-time cleanup and then sign up for regular service once they see the difference. Either way, just give us a call.
Is there an extra charge for the first visit?
There could be, depending on how long it has been since your yard was last cleaned and how many dogs you have. First visits often involve more accumulated waste and take more time. We will always be upfront about any initial fee before you commit to anything.
Do I need to be home when you come?
Not at all. Most of our customers are out when we arrive, and that is completely fine. We just need access to the yard. If you have a gate code or any special instructions, let us know when you sign up and we will note it for every visit.
Do you service yards in Morden, Altona, and Morris?
Yes. We regularly serve Winkler, Morden, Altona, Carman, Plum Coulee, Morris, and surrounding communities across southern Manitoba. Call us to confirm we cover your specific street or neighbourhood and to get a quote.
Do my dogs need to be inside during the visit?
It depends on the dog. We love dogs and are happy to work around yours, but if your dog is protective of the yard it is safer to have them inside while we are there. Let us know when you sign up and we will figure out what works best.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Manitoba weather has a mind of its own. If conditions make it unsafe or impossible to do a proper job, we will let you know ahead of time. We always catch up on any missed waste on our very next visit.
Do you offer a senior discount?
Yes. Seniors receive 25% off all services, including one-time cleanups. Just mention it when you call and we will apply the discount automatically.
Is bi-weekly service available in winter?
Bi-weekly service is a spring and summer option only. During winter months we offer weekly service. Give us a call and we can set up the schedule that makes the most sense for your situation.
How do I pay?
We accept e-Transfer and cash. Payment details are confirmed when you set up your service. We keep it simple.
Is dog poop really that bad for the lawn and environment?
Yes, actually. Dog waste is not a fertilizer. It is high in nitrogen and bacteria, and it can burn grass, contaminate groundwater, and spread parasites. Regular removal is genuinely better for your lawn and for the environment, especially near storm drains or in areas where kids play.
